Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic experience for a 13-week travel contract supporting general and specialty surgical services. Requirements 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required BLS certification required NBSTSA certification required State or Compact license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of consideration Strong orthopedic surgical experience required Epic charting experience preferred Proficiency in universal protocol, laser safety, radiation safety, and specimen handling required Responsibilities Hospital surgical services department covering general OR, ambulatory OR, and multiple surgical specialties Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Specialties include orthopedics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, ENT, neuro, thoracic, plastics, podiatry, and bariatrics Exposure to robotic surgery platforms including Da Vinci Xi, Da Vinci SP, and Mako Surgical System Utilizes equipment such as cell savers, electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, drills, and the Hana table Assist in a wide range of surgical procedures spanning orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urologic, and robotic cases Support surgical teams with instrument preparation, sterile field maintenance, and equipment setup Participate in emergency management and fire safety protocols within the OR First-time travelers will be considered for this position Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
