What You'll Do As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you'll: Guiding Patients : Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, and ensure comfort and privacy Gathering Information : Accurately review patient registration details, collect necessary forms, and complete EMR intake documentation Coordinating Care : Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries Communication and Follow-Up : Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queues DME Support : Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed A Great Fit If You...
