Social Media Strategist

Weezie is a design-forward a luxury bath and home brand recently dubbed by Inc. a “cool girl status symbol.” Launched in 2018, we’ve since landed on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies two years running, and count Gwyneth Paltrow and Mindy Kaling among our fans. Our loyal customers and avid community have helped us grow to 250k on Instagram and 85k on YouTube, and we just launched our first major Instagram series production (we’re a little obsessed). Next up: 250k to 2M on Instagram. We’re looking for the strategist who gets us there and writes the playbook for every channel that comes next. Algorithm-obsessed and a true social media expert, you'll define how and why Weezie shows up on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and more — setting the strategy for each channel, turning campaign themes into channel plans, establishing cadence and measures of success, and directing the content that brings it to life. You'll own Weezie's social strategy end to end and partner closely with our Growth team so organic and paid move in lockstep. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading social for a brand, with deep expertise in how each platform works and what drives growth for each. You bring strategic rigor and fluency in the numbers, paired with the brand sensibility to keep every channel distinctly Weezie. What you'll do Define Weezie's organic strategy for each platform — Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook — including the role each channel plays, the audience it reaches, and the content mix that wins there. Set and monitor measures of success for every platform. Direct the strategy for our founders' social channels, helping them show up in a way that feels authentic to them and complements the Weezie brand. Translate campaign themes and storytelling into channel-by-channel plans and the social content calendar. Own always-on content that keeps every channel active, relevant, and distinctly Weezie between campaign moments. Bring trends, cultural moments, and emerging formats to the table, and make the call on what we should be doing more of. Lead and direct Social Media team with clear briefs, feedback, and priorities, so every piece of content is created and posted with purpose. Partner with Creative to drive Weezie's social video strategy forward, from short-form, episodic social to longer-form YouTube content. Serve as a thought partner to the Sr. Growth Marketing Manager, setting shared goals so our organic and paid strategies support each other Own social performance reporting and a test-and-learn approach to formats, cadence, and content, scaling what works. Who you are 5-7+ years of experience in social media strategy, ideally at a DTC, lifestyle or luxury brand A proven track record of growing reach and audience across multiple platforms Hands‑on experience building and scaling short‑form video strategy, especially on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with the video fluency to direct content that stands out Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves, with a strong creative and editorial eye Fluent in platform analytics, with a solid grasp of how organic and paid social work together Clear communicator who writes sharp briefs, gives useful feedback and brings others along Always on top of trends, formats and culture, you're the first to read industry newsletters and accounts, and are able to translate them into strategy & content that feels unmistakably Weezie Experience leading or directing a content creator, agency or freelance talent Comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly in a high-growth environment Passionate about the Weezie brand and eager to help build a community that feels like a cult following How we’ll measure success We’d love your help shaping what success looks like on each platform.
