To support patient scheduling needs, the part-time Patient Access Scheduler will manage pre-registration and appointment scheduling for patients, handle incoming calls, and provide empathetic assistance in a remote call center environment, working from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm on designated days. Key responsibilities Pre-registers and schedules patient appointments for assigned services in a courteous manner Directs calls to appropriate areas for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling Acts as the first point of contact, assisting patients in navigating the healthcare system with empathy Required qualifications 2 years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting Ability to handle a high volume of back-to-back phone calls in a call center environment Experience working in a remote setting while maintaining performance expectations
