Job SummaryAssist with residential and commercial real estate closings full-service title and escrow team affiliated with The St. Joe Company.Essential FunctionsProcess tasks necessary to close residential title transactions, final closing packages, issue title policies and post-closing mattersCommunicate with realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers and clients to ensure accurate information while providing the best customer serviceReview and clear liens, judgments and other requirements on title commitments and lender closing instructions for compliance statusAssist in preparing documentation and clearing closing requirements for the completion of real estate transactions.Work with internal and external customers to manage all aspects of sale, resale, and financing transactionsAssist with in-person and mail-away closingsMaintain closing filesCollaborate with lenders, real estate agents, lawyers and other company offices on transactional issues encountered on specific transactionsPerform any general office functions, as neededOrder and/or purchase supplies, as neededPrepare and review reports for accuracyAssist with business development, as neededAll other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceReal estate transactional experience preferredFlorida Notary Public preferredKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesQualia closing software experience a plusHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel preferredOutstanding organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with a positive, energetic, flexible and customer service-oriented attitudeAbility to proactively address and resolve issues heading into a real estate closingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressureMust have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as independentlyGood understanding of Florida real estate closing procedures and/or mortgage loan processing preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPhysical DemandsAbility to operate normal office equipmentExtensive use of computerAbility to operate a motor vehicleAbility to sit for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 15 lbsWorking ConditionsNormal office environment, with occasional travel to other office locationsThe above position is employed by Watersound Title Company, LLC, which is wholly owned by The St. Joe Company.
