Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance Technician – Residential CommunityManna Crest | 37 Single-Family Rental HomesFull-Time PositionGreenlawn is seeking an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician to oversee the day-to-day maintenance needs of Manna Crest, a newly acquired community consisting of 37 single-family rental homes.This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who takes pride in their work and wants to help build an effective maintenance program from the ground up. We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate well with residents and management, and take ownership of the maintenance needs of the community.Primary ResponsibilitiesComplete day-to-day resident maintenance requests and repairsPrepare vacant homes for new residents, including unit turnsTroubleshoot and complete general plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairsIdentify repairs that should be completed by outside contractors and coordinate work with approved vendorsInspect homes and community property for maintenance concerns and preventative maintenance needsMaintain accurate records of work completed, materials needed, and outstanding repairsCommunicate regularly with Greenlawn staff regarding priorities, progress, vendor work, and property needsHelp develop and implement a practical preventative maintenance plan for the communityRespond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as part of an on-call responsibilityWhat We're Looking ForThe right candidate will be dependable, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working without constant supervision. You should be able to look at a problem, determine the appropriate next step, and follow it through to completion.Candidates must:Have hands-on residential maintenance or construction experienceHave working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentryHave their own basic toolsHave reliable transportationBe willing and able to participate in an on-call scheduleLive within 30 miles of the job siteCommunicate professionally with residents, vendors, and Greenlawn staffBe able to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and projectsBe able to work independently and take initiativePass a drug screening and criminal background checkMore Than a Maintenance JobBecause Manna Crest is newly under Greenlawn management, we are looking for someone who wants to do more than complete work orders.
