You will support the manufacturing team on-site (1st shift) in Tucson, AZ, working directly with assembly leads, inspectors, and cross-functional teams to meet production and quality goals.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamPerform disassembly, assembly, re-work and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipmentUse electric solder equipment to IPC-A-610B standard and operate hand and power tools for assembly tasksCut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bondingFollow written and verbal instructions and complete work according to specifications under direct/limited supervisionConduct inspections of your own and others' work against drawings and customer/company standardsMaintain a clean, orderly workstation following 5S standards and adhere to safety and attendance policiesParticipate in hands-on assessments and be available for variable schedules, overtime, nights and weekends as neededHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleMinimum 5 years of prior related work experience in an electrical/avionics manufacturing or testing environment, or completed OJT for at least 10 productsHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient use of hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering gun; skilled at soldering to IPC-A-610B standardGood mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to work with small partsAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and proceduresBasic math skills and effective oral, written, and interpersonal communicationAbility to pass drug/alcohol screenings and comply with Drug-Free Workplace policiesAbility to lift/carry up to 35 lbs and perform light physical tasks as describedExperience with MS Office SuiteHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience with simple welding or brazing tasksPrior experience in avionics or aerospace manufacturing environmentsPay Range$19.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
