Project Engineer

Engineering Change SpecialistThe Engineering Change Specialist manages the lifecycle of product modifications, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Orders (ECOs) or Requests (ECRs), from initiation to implementation. They bridge engineering, production, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure seamless design updates, minimize inventory obsolescence, and maintain accurate Bill of Materials in ERP/PLM systems.Piston Automotive wasn't just founded to make things. Supports all customer program meetings as required.Coordinate regarding product changes to ensure timely adoption of new revisions.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or a related field.A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain, specifically within change management.A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), including Product Data Management (PDM).A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience with technical understanding of product design and engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes.A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience with MS Word, Excel, and Project at an intermediate level.Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by a high level of organization and the ability to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.Piston Automotive, part of the Piston Group family of companies, is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that values the unique contributions of every employee.
