Apply Today!     Where You Will Work   Tyrone is an open-pit copper mining complex located in Grant County, New Mexico – just 10 miles south of the historic mining community of Silver City. The copper processing facilities currently consist of a solvent extraction/electrowinning operation with an annual maximum capacity of approximately 100 million pounds of copper.   The community of Silver City boasts various restaurants, arts, entertainment, cliff dwellings, festivals and much more. From unique shopping finds in the galleries to everyday groceries, schools and housing, there are numerous amenities for everyone.  Visit Silver City to learn more.  What You Will DoUnder general supervision, supervises, coordinates and controls the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate supervisors. Ensures continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedulesProvides operations input for production and maintenance planningEnsures adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulationsInspects assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attainedCoordinates daily with other operational and staff areas including, but not limited to: maintenance, processing, engineering, safety, environmental, and salesDirectly supervises first-line or shift supervisorsPerforms other duties as requiredWhat You Bring To FreeportHigh School diploma or GED and nine (9) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc..) in Accounting or Finance; ORAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and seven (7) years professional experience in accounting; ORBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related area, AND five (5) years of related Accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experience; ORMaster’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related area, AND three (3) years of related Accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experienceKnowledge of supervisory methods and techniquesSkilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures needed to complete projectsSkilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administrationAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingWhat We Offer You  The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,500-$120,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
