Job Description Job Description HVAC Operations Manager Chad’s AC – Montgomery, Alabama Chad’s AC is seeking a driven and experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead and optimize our service and installation operations in Montgomery, AL. We are looking for a strong leader who can develop teams, improve operational performance, and help drive continued growth while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for an experienced HVAC leader with a background in service operations, team management, process improvement, and profitability management. Position Overview The HVAC Operations Manager will oversee daily operations for service and installation departments, ensuring efficiency, accountability, profitability, and high-quality customer service. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to coach teams and improve operational processes. Responsibilities Lead and manage HVAC service and installation operations Supervise, mentor, and develop technicians, installers, dispatch, and support staff Monitor operational performance, KPIs, and departmental profitability Improve scheduling efficiency, workflow processes, and customer satisfaction Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts for field staff Conduct ride-alongs, training, and performance coaching Oversee inventory, fleet, and equipment management Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives Manage customer escalations and maintain high service standards Help drive revenue growth through operational excellence and team accountability Qualifications 5+ years of HVAC management or operations leadership experience Strong knowledge of residential HVAC service and installation operations Experience managing technicians and field teams Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with KPI tracking, budgeting, and profitability management Service Titan experience strongly preferred Ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multiple departments or locations Background in sales-driven service environments Knowledge of inventory control and fleet management Experience with recruiting and team development NATE Certification or additional industry certifications are a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonuses and incentive opportunities Health benefits Paid time off and holidays Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Professional development and leadership training Long-term advancement opportunities Supportive and growth-focused leadership team Location Montgomery, Alabama If you are an experienced HVAC leader ready to help build high-performing teams and drive operational success, we encourage you to apply.
