At Old Dominion we are looking for individuals to join the OD Family that will provide innovative solutions and exceed expectations to keep OD the premier transportation solutions provider.Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll issues.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely processing of company-wide weekly payroll in SAP and mileage pay in the legacy AS400 systemAccurately enter employee master file data into the payroll system including: taxes, deductions, garnishments, and other pay informationProcess direct deposit and negotiable checks in an accurate and precise mannerProvide timely and helpful customer service for employees concerning payroll related issues in assigned region/service areaComplete forms request by or for employees such as wage summaries, employment verifications, etc.Reconcile assigned payroll accountsJob QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentExperience:2+ years of payroll experienceExperience processing large multi-state payroll in ERP (in house) payroll environmentProficient with Microsoft ExcelDetail oriented and self-motivatedAbility to work independentlyStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive data regarding employee wages confidentiallySAP experience preferredWorking Days:Shift and hours to be determined.Working Shift:Shift and hours to be determined.Work Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
