The Float Physical Therapist will rotate between the following clinic locations: Kaseman Albuquerque Healthplex Albuquerque Southern Rio Rancho Las Estancias South Valley Physical Therapist are movement experts who improve quality of life through hands‑on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Our Physical Therapist work as a team with physical therapy assistants to treat people of all ages and abilities. In this position with Presbyterian’s Outpatient rehabilitation department, clinicians have the opportunity to treat a variety of patients and work with a group of therapists who have a range in specialties. The Outpatient rehabilitation team is collaborative and patient‑focused. Additional Job Duties Evaluate patients, develop plans and goals, and implement treatment programs for improvement of physical or developmental dysfunction and independence in activities of daily living. Continuously reassess treatment plans and goals. Educate and instruct regarding home programs and preventive measures as appropriate to patient, family, and others. Prepare written documentation as required by the profession and the department in a timely manner. Communicate with patient, family, physician, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care. Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Participate in educational programs and in‑services and other meetings as required. Participate on special project teams and other related duties as assigned and requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred. New Mexico License of Physical Therapy required. BLS required at time of hire. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
