Children’s Therapy Center is looking for a collaborative, experienced, and relationship-centered Sr. Human Resources Partner to support organization-wide human resources operations and employee engagement initiatives. This role serves as a strategic and operational HR partner, supporting recruitment, employee and labor relations, compliance, and employee development efforts. The Sr. Human Resources Partner works closely with leaders and employees across the organization to foster a positive workplace culture, strengthen employee engagement, support organizational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and collective bargaining obligations. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, adaptability, and the ability to navigate sensitive and complex situations with professionalism and care. Primary Responsibilities Employee Relations and Engagement Support employee engagement initiatives, including employee advisory groups, affinity programs, wellness efforts, recognition activities, and culture-building opportunities and events. Provide support and guidance to leaders related to employee management, communication, accountability, and performance support. Serve and support employees and leaders in employee relations concerns, workplace communication, performance concerns, and conflict resolution. Support professional development review processes and employee feedback initiatives and surveys. Labor Relations and Compliance Support labor relations activities, including interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements, participation in labor-management processes, and partnership with organizational leadership during negotiations and implementation efforts. Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour requirements, leave administration, accommodations, and personnel documentation practices. Assist with workplace investigations, documentation review, corrective action processes, and policy interpretation. Support organizational compliance initiatives related to training, policy implementation, and employment practices. Recruitment, Hiring, and Onboarding Support the full recruitment cycle in partnership with the Human Resources Recruiter-Coordinator and Team; including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer development, pre-employment processes, and onboarding activities. Serve as the primary HR backup for recruitment and onboarding functions across the organization. Partner with leaders to develop recruitment strategies that support organizational staffing needs and equitable hiring practices. Support onboarding and orientation processes to help new employees successfully integrate into the organization. Training and Organizational Development Design, coordinate, and implement employee training and development opportunities, including individual-contributor/employee learning, leadership support, compliance education, and DEIB-focused initiatives. Partner with leaders to identify training needs and support organizational development priorities. Support initiatives that strengthen communication, employee development, belonging, and workplace culture across teams and sites. Compensation and Benefits Support Support CTC’s annual compensation and benefits review processes. Participate in market pay studies, compensation benchmarking, wage analysis, and benefits evaluations. Support compensation recommendations and employee communications related to pay and benefits programs. HR Operations and Collaboration Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation in accordance with organizational and legal requirements. Support HR reporting, audits, policy updates, and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate across departments to support organizational priorities and operational needs. Travel regularly between Children’s Therapy Center locations to support employees and leaders onsite. Requirements Demonstrable Experience and Other Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources and/or educational experience, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and organizational support responsibilities. Experience supporting labor relations, collective bargaining environments, or unionized workplaces is a plus. Experience designing or facilitating employee training and professional development programs. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices. Experience working within healthcare, nonprofit, education, or human services environments preferred. Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using various oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal skills. Effective listening skills, including the ability to recognize, comprehend and appreciate various perspectives and diverse points of view. Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to organize work to meet various commitments and responsibilities. Ability to anticipate potential challenges, and adjust to changes as needed. Collaborative and participatory; serves as an active member of the team, inviting diverse perspectives to support organizational priorities and common goals. Demonstrated ability to include, value, respect, and engage perspectives that cross cultural backgrounds, lived experiences, and diverse points of view. Other Information Schedule/Worksite: This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three (3) full days per week working onsite (Monday-Friday). Remote work may be available for up to two (2) days per week, depending on organizational needs. The primary office location for this position is flexible between Children’s Therapy Center sites in Washington; however, the role is expected to regularly travel between office locations in Burien, Kent, Maple Valley, and Tacoma to support employees and organizational operations. What We Offer: Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable, competitive pay based on job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $39.30 - $49.78 depending on experience.
