Child & Youth Abuse Trauma Specialist

Role Overview

Apply specialized clinical expertise in child and youth abuse trauma to help improve AI-generated mental health guidance for vulnerable young survivors. This remote contract role centers on ensuring that training materials and evaluations reflect nuanced, accurate, ethical, and trauma-informed care. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and contribute to case-based scenarios involving youth abuse victimization.
• Review, clinically assess, and provide feedback on model-generated mental health guidance related to abuse cases.
• Develop and curate content on trauma-informed care best practices for young abuse survivors.
• Identify clinical, ethical, safety, or accuracy gaps in AI-generated responses.
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams to align deliverables with current mental health care standards for abuse victims.
• Participate in iterative review cycles to improve training-data quality.
• Document recommendations that strengthen system sensitivity, accuracy, privacy, confidentiality, and safety for vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Completed MD, PhD in psychology, or PhD in social work credentials.
• Extensive clinical experience supporting youth who have experienced abuse, with this population as a primary or exclusive clinical focus.
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed practices and interventions for young survivors.
• Active clinical engagement, with most working time dedicated to supporting abuse victims.
• Strong clinical assessment, case analysis, ethical decision-making, content development, feedback, evaluation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Commitment to protecting participant privacy, confidentiality, well-being, and ethical standards.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $100 to $200 per hour.
