Neuro Tele Registered NurseThe Neuro Tele Registered Nurse will work in a bustling environment with a focus on neurological patients. The position requires the ability to float between units as necessary. Weekends are mandatory, with six shifts required over a six-week schedule. Staffing ratios are expected to be 1:4 on both days and nights. The daily census averages around 27 patients with a dedicated 29-bed capacity. The unit supports a variety of diagnoses, including strokes, epilepsy, and neurosurgical patients. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for providing optimal patient care. Existing experience in telemetry or neuro step-down care is preferred, though first-time travelers will be considered. The current electronic health record system used is Epic. The role demands strong teamwork and effective communication skills. Travelers may also be required to float to nearby facilities if necessary.
