Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Summary

Rose View Rehab and Care Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team for Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN opportunities on Day, Evening, and Night shifts .

Under the supervision of the nursing team, you will provide direct, hands-on care and support to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation facility. This role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring and reporting changes in condition, promoting comfort and safety, and helping create a positive and respectful environment.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and nutritional needs.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating residents using proper safety techniques and equipment.
• Take and record resident vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, and other assigned measurements.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to the licensed nursing staff.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident call bells and requests for assistance.
• Assist with maintaining resident rooms and care areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow infection control procedures and facility safety policies.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate communication to residents and their families.
• Document care and observations accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements and Qualifications

• Current, active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
• New CNA graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights, infection control practices, and basic patient care procedures.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate with a strong commitment to resident care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
