Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for data center projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand requirements and scope. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate cost overruns. Maintain and update cost databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance to current market conditions. Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid proposals and responding to client inquiries. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure alignment with project requirements. Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to management on cost performance. Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and advancements in data center construction. Qualifications Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in data center or related construction projects. Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, construction materials, and industry standards. Proficiency in estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with data center infrastructure and systems is a plus. Day-to-Day Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive cost estimates. Conduct site visits and meetings with stakeholders to gather project-specific information. Prepare and present cost analysis reports to management and clients. Collaborate with procurement teams to source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
