About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Security Technology (Deputy CISO) to play a pivotal role in leading, scaling, and maturing its enterprise security program. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing security strategy, with a strong focus on client, product, application, and supplier security. This role demands a leader who can integrate security into various business initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and new ventures, and who is adept at advising on security risk and resilience. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing security engagements, establishing KPIs, and leading a high-performing security organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years' of security and IT experience, and a proven track record of leading security functions in complex, regulated environments. Significant client-facing experience and the ability to translate technical risk into business terms are essential. The role requires a candidate with deep experience in application and product security, identity and access management, and governance, risk, and compliance. Executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to influence across various teams are also key attributes. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CRISC are preferred, as is experience in financial services, large-scale healthcare, or technology-enabled services.
