About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required. License: Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Must-Have: - Must have prior nursing experience in the specialty applying for. - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required. - Required certifications must be active at the time of submission. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry. The nurse will work the night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. A permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license must be in hand before submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory for this position. Travelers are expected to have one reference from a managerial level within the past 12 months. References from co-workers will not be considered. Candidates must pass ECG rhythm recognition tests and safeMedicate during orientation. Two attempts are allowed to pass these assessments; failure to pass will result in cancellation of the submission. Background checks will be reviewed, and travelers with open cases will not be accepted. All requirements for compliance and competencies related to travel nursing must be met. Candidates should ensure a nicotine-free status unless exempted as specified. All other travelers must meet specific requirements regarding drug screening and licensing. Extensions may be granted for candidates with a history of contracts, subject to terms outlined in the position details. Candidates must be prepared to fulfill hands-on competency requirements should they stay on contract for an extended period.
