Attracting top talent who can thrive in a collaborative environment contributes to our success. Responsibilities The highly qualified individual we seek will have a “hunter” sales mentality. He or she will network throughout the community and prospect for new business while maintaining and building positive relationships with clients. The Outside Sales Representative performs all phases of the sales/design process, including, but not limited to: analyzing the market and community, identifying opportunities for new business, performing prospect call screenings, conducting prospective client meetings, preparing cost estimates, developing proposals, and presenting maintenance estimates to prospects and clients. This full-time position works out of our office in Miamisburg and/or Loveland, Ohio. Qualifications We seek an individual with a passion to sell and close deals, along with an appreciation for exceptional landscape maintenance and snow removal. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative, organized, able to build rapport quickly, and able to confidently and professionally communicate Grunder Landscaping’s unique value proposition to prospects. He/she will also have a competitive spirit, a sense of urgency, and a desire to win. Must have excellent follow-up skills, attention to detail, an eye for landscape beauty. Other Requirements Ability to read and understand blueprints. Willingness to learn proprietary software and other programs as needed. Conduct research to generate leads in the target market area and build a pipeline of new commercial business prospects, including warm and cold leads. Maintain and continually expand a database of prospects, tracking and documenting all activity with each prospect. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but an associate degree or equivalent experience can be substituted.
