Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students onlyWe're looking for an energetic, team-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing orthopedic practice. In this role, you'll support a collaborative team of orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers (APPs), and non-operative orthopedic physicians in providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. If you enjoy fast-paced clinic work, being hands-on with patient care, and working in a team that values culture as much as competence, this role may be a great fit for you!Ability to travel between Holland, Grand Haven, and Zeeland clinics as scheduled. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients. Assist providers in orthopedic clinics across Holland, Grand Haven, and Zeeland. Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available. Perform clinical tasks within scope such as vital signs, suture removal, casting. Support the care team. Coordinate patient flow to maintain efficient and timely clinic operations. Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation. Delivery of excellent customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent RequiredSuccessful completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on skills.
