Catering Coordinator Top Priorities Execute Catering Orders – Accurately and On Time Grow Catering Sales in the Community Support ‘Base’ Shifts in the Store Execute Catering Orders – Accurately and On Time Deliver catering orders to guests oLoad vehicle to keep food hot and secure; set up at guest location when requested oValid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required oFollow all cash handling and payment procedures for catering Own every catering order from intake to delivery oConfirm order details – items, quantities, time, location, contact, payment oCommunicate order details and timing to the kitchen and shift manager oMaintain the catering calendar and order tracker so nothing is missed Assist with prep, packaging, and labeling of catering orders oVerify every order is complete – food, sauces, utensils, plates, drinks, ice oHot & Fresh food, Packed Correctly, and delivered ACCURATELY Follow up after delivery to confirm satisfaction and capture repeat business Grow Catering Sales in the Community Visit local businesses, medical offices, schools, churches, offices, and event organizers to promote catering Distribute catering menus and promotional materials Maintain a contact list of prospects and existing catering customers Follow up on leads, quotes, and past orders Represent the Zaxby’s brand professionally in appearance, attitude, and communication Support ‘Base’ Shifts in the Store Work the front counter as cashier when no catering orders are scheduled Recognize existing guests as prospects for catering – start the conversation and share the catering menu Assist with prep, stocking, and store cleanliness as directed by the shift manager Reposition as needed – Aces in Places during Peak Times Working with Purpose and a Sense of Urgency Serving the Team to Ultimately Serve the Guest MODELING ZAXBY’S MISSION STATEMENT and FSRG CORE VALUES Consistently Create ENCORE Experiences that Enrich Lives One Person at a Time – at the counter and at every delivery TRUST – Uphold every promise – right order, right time, right place, every time EXCELLENCE – Process Obsessed – Hot & Fresh food, packed correctly, delivered ACCURATELY ACCOUNTABILITY – Own each order from intake to delivery; communicate early when something changes CONTINUOUS SELF IMPROVEMENT – Learn every position needed to execute catering; seek and act on feedback HEART FOR SERVICE – Serve guests, the team, and the community with care – in the store and on every visit BELIEF IN OTHERS – Support and encourage teammates; help train others to execute catering FUN – Bring energy and a friendly face to the counter, the kitchen, and the community Schedule & Hours Part-time position – approximately 25 hours per week o~15 hours per week in-store working positions (cashier, prep, support) o~10 hours per week in the field – delivering catering orders and developing new business oField hours flex around catering demand; in-store hours may increase when catering is slow oWeekend availability required Position Requirements Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Friendly, outgoing, and confident with guests and community contacts Neat, professional appearance Able to lift 30+ lbs and stand for the duration of a shift Reliable availability for the schedule described above Complete training on our digital catering platform with the Director of Catering Food service, hospitality, delivery, or sales experience a plus Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description Adhere to duties and responsibilities described in signed proposal not listed on this document Faulkner Smith Restaurant Group is a privately owned family business started in 1998 with the first Zaxby's franchise store in Winder, Georgia.
