**Experience and Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 2 years of experience required - Must have Cardiac PCU experience and be comfortable with 1:5 ratios - EPIC experience required - First-time travelers are acceptable **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge RN experience preferred - Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred **Certifications and Licensure:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) required - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) preferred **Skills Required:** - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Telemetry - on-unit monitoring - Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization - Peripheral Line Care and Management - PICC line management - Manage Cardiac drips (no titration) - Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration) - Procedural Sedation Administration - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - Chest tubes - Emerson, Pleur-evac - External CPAP/BIPAP - Tracheostomy Management **Clinical Focus:** - Cardiac patients: Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrhythmias, pre and post cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, rule out myocardial infarction, syncope, pacemaker placement - Secondary focus on respiratory problems: COPD, pneumonia, BIPAP **Schedule and Flexibility:** - 3x12-hour shifts, nights, 7 PM to 7:30 AM - Weekend rotation and holidays as needed - Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences **Compliance and Testing:** - Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance - Compliance file due by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date **Additional Requirements:** - License in hand required with submission - Local radius: 50 miles. No locals accepted - All travelers are subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed
