Inventory clerk

Randstad is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our site operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining daily supply chain accuracy across the facility. You will execute physical cycle counts, track raw materials and finished goods, and input real-time data into our inventory systems.

This position requires working in variable temperature environments-ranging from warm preparation zones to cold storage coolers-making reliability, safety, and adaptability essential for long-term success.

salary: $16.74 - $16.75 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Cycle Counting: Perform routine inventory cycle counts across hot and cold storage environments (refrigerated, freezer, and non-temperature-controlled areas).
• Data & System Entry: Utilize inventory management systems, databases, and spreadsheets to accurately track stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
• Audit & Reconciliation: Investigate count variances, report stock shortages or overages, and maintain clear audit trails for production supplies and finished goods.
• Stock Verification: Verify item tags, lot numbers, date labels, and storage locations to ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and food safety compliance.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate inventory updates and stock availability to warehouse, production, and recruitment site supervisors.

The essential functions of this role include:
