This role primarily involves weekend call, with shifts running from 7 am to 7 am, focusing on a range of abdominal and soft tissue cases, including appendectomies, gallbladder removals, and the treatment of bowel obstructions or perforations. Responsibilities and Duties Provide general surgical care during weekend call coverage. Manage abdominal and soft tissue cases. Perform procedures such as appendectomies and gallbladder removals. Treat bowel obstructions and perforations. Adhere to a 7 am to 7 am shift schedule during call. Handle 24-hour out-of-house weekend call. Additional Information Board Certification in General Surgery is required. Experience with the Allscripts EMR system.
