Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Contract) Location Sanford, North Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Onsite | Projected Start: September 4, 2026 Key Responsibilities Provide specialized perioperative nursing care within a dedicated Operating Room setting serving patients of all ages Perform assigned OR duties including scrub and/or circulating roles as required by the unit Utilize Cerner EHR to accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately 6 call shifts per month and 1 weekend per month as needed Float to other areas of the surgical unit as needed Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided by the facility Required Qualifications Active RN licensure valid in the state of North Carolina (or compact eligibility) Minimum 1–2 years of specialized Operating Room experience required; this is not a floor nursing position Current ACLS certification Current BLS certification Current CPI / Handle With Care (HWC) / Management of Aggressive Behavior (MAB) certification All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Cerner electronic health record system Demonstrated ability to adapt to varied surgical cases and serve a broad patient population including pediatric through geriatric Why Join Us Work at a Joint Commission-certified acute care hospital offering a wide range of surgical specialties in a supportive, community-focused environment Enjoy the benefits of a central North Carolina location with easy access to the Research Triangle region, outdoor recreation, and local amenities Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773727.
