Travel Postpartum / OB-GYN RN

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience
- Travel experience required
- References: 2 required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years)
- Valid state RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP
- Key clinical skills:
- Postpartum care (vaginal and cesarean), post-op care, postpartum readmits
- Newborn care: thermoregulation, glucose management, phototherapy, routine newborn assessment
- Medications/equipment: blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate
- Procedures/devices: drains, wound vac, Foley/bladder assessment, breast pump education
- Common complications: postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension

Compliance / Notes
- Background checks: facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
- Pre-start modules: average ~16 hours (completed pre-start; >20 hrs requires approval)
- Documentation typically required: SSN, DOB, 2 references
- Scheduling/Time-Off: must request RTO/scheduling needs up-front during submittal; limited flexibility may impact offer
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Unknown
