Mailroom & Building Services Assistant (Part-time)

Occasional Part-time Mailroom & Building Services AssistantWTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are seeking an Occasional Part-time Mailroom & Building Services Assistant.Key Responsibilities:Drive company vehicle to pick up and drop off mail from the Post OfficeReceive and process loading dock deliveriesPick up sweepstakes from caller window – seasonal pick up scheduleLog in overnight deliveries and sort and distribute mail/packages throughout the dayPick up and distribute inter-office mailOperate postage meter for outgoing mail and maintain postage allocations by dept.Handle all incoming and outgoing UPS, FedEx and Amazon packagesOn call for light cleaning/deliver cases of copier paper or water upon requestDaily coffee machine maintenance – refill/empty coffee machineAssist with setup of rooms for meetings, parties, special events and pledgeMoving of office furniture and misc. office equipment upon requestAssist with misc. office services or courier runs upon requestRecycle paper pick-up throughout the building per scheduled daysParking lot duties upon requestOther duties as assignedSkills Required:Flexible scheduleDriver's License with good driving recordDetail oriented with good communication skillsAble to handle multiple tasksAble to retain pertinent informationAbility to lift up to 30 lbsMust practice office discretion with sensitive informationSalary Range: $18-22/hourWTTW and WFMT are committed to providing comprehensive and affordable benefits.
