Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Experience: 2 years of ED experience License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Two years of acute care RN experience - Ability to make sound independent decisions - Experience in maintaining financial stability within a unit Description: A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe and effective patient and family-centered care. Customer satisfaction and quality outcomes are priorities. The RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care. Collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary services is essential. The RN monitors and documents responses to clinical interventions. Facilitating and evaluating education specific to patient and family needs is required. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. Delegating tasks and mentoring staff are key responsibilities. Participating in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts is expected. Compliance with regulatory standards is essential. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional development. The RN demonstrates teamwork and identifies opportunities for improvement.
