We have need of senior Linux System Administration support, with skills in the following areas:RedHat/CentOS & Ubuntu system administrationMajor and minor OS upgradeScripting languages, including bash and PythonAnsible automationGit repository managementVMware/deployment methodsPhysical server maintenance, include iDRACImplementing system security best practicesAuthentication protocols/methods including KRB, SSSD, A/D, LDAPProficient written and verbal communicationOn specified RedHat/CentOS and Ubuntu servers and desktops: plan, execute document and share methodsContractor Tasks:Individual Systems Update (100+ Systems)SecurityUninstall FireEye HX agentInstall/configure M.S. DefenderReview/implement 3rd party recommendationsScheduled jobs analysisValidate/analyze boot files (inittab, systemd, rc.x)Compare /home to passwd fileReview/convert chronyd configurationsMigrate Ubuntu Desktops to current version (10 Systems)Upgrade/migrate Linux servers to latest OS (10 Systems)Ansible bash-to-yaml conversionReview/Improve logging (syslog-ng)Review A/D integration (Kerberos with SSSD; LDAPS; OUs)Replace SSL Certificates (20 Systems)
