Heavy Equipment Operator
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to support daily production while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and equipment care.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following company policies and operating procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, grader Water Trucks and Other Assigned Machinery
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance needs.
- Haul, stockpile and move material safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety policies, operating procedures and environmental regulations.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents or equipment damage immediately.
- Maintain accurate inspection cards and required documentation.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
- Ability to climb ladders and steps to enter/exit equipment safely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy equipment in mining construction, quarry or industrial environment preferred.
- Knowledge of safe equipment operating practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license required.
