Machine Operator

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $18.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

Job Summary: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring Machine Operators to support a busy manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll work hands-on with production lines to inspect, finish, and prepare plastic containers and drums for shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying active, and being part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Production Line Support

• Work at the end of a production line receiving products from a conveyor
• Remove excess plastic material using hand tools
• Inspect products for quality issues such as defects, discoloration, or damage
• Set aside any defective items for supervisor review

Assembly & Finishing

• Install caps, lids, or components based on production requirements
• Prepare and stack finished products in trays for cooling and packaging
• Apply finishing touches such as dust caps when required

Drum Handling (larger products)

• Trim excess material from large plastic drums using tools provided
• Inspect drums for quality and structural integrity
• Attach metal bands or components to secure lids
• Move products through cooling stations and prepare for shipment
• Load finished drums into designated storage or trailers

What We're Looking For

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling materials (up to ~20 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Reliable and safety-conscious

Additional Details

• No prior experience required training provided
• Must follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Valid driver's license preferred
