Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

• 24 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Credentials: RDCS-PE verification required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Fetal echo experience preferred.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system. Previous permanent staff candidates must be gone for 2 years before returning. Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years before returning. Travel teams must be submitted together.

Unit Details: Performs fetal and pediatric echocardiography studies. Performs inpatient echo studies in the children’s hospital. Approximately 8 scans/studies per day. Uses ISCV. Uses Philips EPIQ7 equipment. No IV starts required.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Weekends not typically required. No holiday requirements. No call or standby requirement.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
