Weekend Call Locums - Peoria, Illinois - Pediatric Surgery Job

Clinical Role

Locum tenens opportunity
ASAP-ongoing
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible pediatric surgeon
Will consider physicians with:
- An active Illinois license
- An active IMLC
- Willingness to obtain an Illinois license
Approximately one weekend (4-5 days) of coverage per month
Arrive Thursday evening and depart Monday morning
24-hour call coverage throughout the assignment
Ongoing coverage while a physician is on leave
Flexible scheduling based on provider availability
Perform the full scope of pediatric general surgery procedures
Work alongside four pediatric general surgeons in a collaborative practice
ECMO-certified center
Level I Trauma Center
Level III NICU
More than 1,100 pediatric surgical cases annually
Dedicated inpatient Advanced Practice Nurses provide daytime inpatient support
Dedicated outpatient APN assists with clinic coverage
EMR: Epic
