1st Shift Production Supervisor

Full-time Description As a 1st Shift Production Supervisor at Progressive Surface, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, & safety. You will be responsible for managing a team of production workers & coordinating production schedules to meet customer demands & organizational goals. Commissions & stages material for production. Verifies all production machine setups & work instructions are followed Maintain safe & organized operations Proficient in all production and quality tasks Monitor inventory levels for raw material & communicate needs prior to any shortages Works closely with all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring support of meeting labor standards, quality standards, & adherence to manufacturing specifications Provides team members daily workstation assignments Directs & coordinates maintenance activities Supports a culture of Lean continuous improvement seeking to minimize waste Assists with performance evaluations, training / coaching, tracking attendance, & administering company policies. Requirements High School graduate or equivalent. Previous leadership experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate positive, professional behavior at all times. Ability to work within team environment required. Good verbal & written communication skills. Ability to use computer & scanning equipment. Manufacturing procedure background. Ability to read & understand work instructions & quality procedures & other instructional material printed in English preferred.
