MLR is excited to partner with our client in welcoming a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their Labor and Delivery team. Key Responsibilities:

• Closely monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery, tracking vital signs and fetal heart rates to ensure safety and well-being.
• Administer direct patient care, including medication, assisting with deliveries, and providing pain management.
• Educate patients and their families on the labor and delivery process, pain relief options, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and positive birth experience.
• Document patient information accurately throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or complications, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment, following infection control guidelines and hospital standards.

Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico RN license (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
