Director, Paid Social

Siege Media is a senior-led, full-service GEO agency. We help brands like Zapier, Asana, TripAdvisor, and Shutterstock earn visibility - in Google, in AI answer engines, and now, increasingly, in the social channels where modern buyers research and discover. We've built our reputation on doing serious, strategic work without the agency bloat.

We're adding paid social to our service mix, with an emphasis in Reddit advertising to drive LLM influence for our clients. You'd own the channel.

The role

This is a wedge hire. You're not joining an established paid social team - you're building one. On day one you own Reddit ads as a new client service line and run Siege's own paid social and retargeting. As Reddit ads books revenue, you'll hire and lead a team underneath you.

This is a senior, client-facing role. You'll pitch on sales calls, strategize campaigns, get hands-on in the platforms early in the lifespan of the service offering, and write the reports clients actually read. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution. If you want to build a practice from scratch with the runway and brand of an established agency behind you, this role is for you.

What you'll own

• Reddit ads (primary): Strategy, setup, optimization, and reporting for Siege clients. Building the playbook, pricing scaffolds, and reporting cadence from zero.

• Siege's paid social: Retargeting engaged leads and running Meta/LinkedIn campaigns that feed our own sales pipeline.

• Sales support: Joining prospect calls to scope and sell paid social engagements alongside the growth team.

• Team building: Hiring your first associate when Reddit ads revenue justifies it, then training and managing them to Siege's senior-led standard. Owning and executing until then.

• Service infrastructure: The templates, QA processes, attribution approach, and reporting standards that turn paid social into a repeatable, sellable service line.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years running paid social campaigns in an agency environment - ideally a mix of Reddit, LinkedIn, and Meta

• Hands-on Reddit Ads Manager experience (Conversation Ads, Promoted Posts, custom audiences) and a point of view on who the platform is and isn’t a fit for

• B2B and B2C experience, especially SaaS, ecommerce and fintech. You know the difference between optimizing for clicks and optimizing for pipeline.

• Client-facing comfort. You can walk a VP of Marketing through a quarterly review without flinching.

• Strong written communication. Clients see your work directly; we don't have account managers translating between you and them.

• Builder energy. You’re excited about helping build and scale a service line, not just executing someone else’s plan. You can execute and advise on campaigns to keep the department profitable early on.

Bonus points

• Hands-on Reddit Ads Manager experience (Conversation Ads, Promoted Posts, custom audiences)

• Experience with ChatGPT ads

• Built or scaled a paid social practice inside an agency before

• Familiarity with B2B attribution headaches - multi-touch, dark social, self-reported attribution

• Past client network in paid social within our client base

Compensation & logistics

• $115,000-$130,000 base, $135,000-$155,000 OTE
