Job Summary:
The registered nurse Stress Technician position is located in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves providing skilled nursing support during cardiac and pulmonary stress testing procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers a full-time schedule based on an 8-hour shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Hermiston, Oregon
• Position: Registered Nurse Stress Technician
• Schedule: Dayshift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; Oregon state RN license; BLS certification; ACLS certification; CRASE training. If the travel assignment extends beyond six months, CRASE training will be required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac stress testing, ECG interpretation, or cardiopulmonary diagnostics. Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing pre-test nursing assessments, monitoring patients during stress tests, administering medications (if credentialed), operating stress testing equipment, and collaborating with cardiology providers and the healthcare team. The position is primarily performed in an indoor healthcare environment with exposure to infectious and contagious diseases and medical equipment. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks, with the expectation to follow safety protocols and utilize PPE. The healthcare environment can be fast-paced and may involve responding to emergency situations.
