Details Medical Oncology unit with 41 beds Day shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with Tuesday starts Patient ratios of 4:1 up to 5:1 maximum Uses Baxter pumps and Meditech EMR Rotating weekend and on-call requirements Team-centered care approach Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required for all RNs working in Oncology Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Oncology experience required Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention required Solid understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement protocols required Familiarity with ports and central lines preferred General medical oncology understanding preferred No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform daily blood and electrolyte replacement and sterile dressing changes Scrub color is royal blue, monogrammed with hospital name; hospital-approved jackets permitted Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted No previous employment history restrictions specified for this facility These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
