Every day is different, and every patient presents a new opportunity to change a life.**What You'll Be Doing:*** Evaluating patients and building customized therapy plans* Helping patients improve communication, thinking, and swallowing skills* Adjusting treatments based on progress and goals* Educating patients and families to support success at home* Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the full rehab team* Documenting clearly and thoroughly* Supervising speech students and rehab techs as needed* Pitching in on performance improvement projects and department initiatives* Keeping your space safe, clean, and organized* Leading or contributing to special projects and programs* Staying current with professional development and best practices* Supporting a culture of safety, quality, and great patient experiences**What You Need:*** A degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program* A current Missouri Speech Pathologist License* Either: + Eligibility for your Clinical Fellowship Year, **or** + Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA* Solid written and verbal communication skills* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationIf you’re passionate about helping people communicate and connect, we’d love to hear from you.
