Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This small animal practice provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs and is looking for a collaborative veterinarian to join its growing team. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will examine animals to assess their health, diagnose medical conditions, treat and dress wounds, perform surgery, vaccinate against diseases, operate diagnostic equipment including X-ray machines, prescribe medications, and advise owners on general care, medical conditions, and treatment options. You will perform both general and orthopedic surgeries while working closely with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice offers a diverse caseload supported by digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, advanced dental equipment, a fully equipped surgical suite, and laboratory facilities. Services include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, orthopedic surgery, diagnostics, urgent care, laser therapy, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutrition, pharmacy, pet boarding, and pet grooming. The practice has been recognised as Nextdoor's Neighborhood Favorite for both veterinary care and grooming for four consecutive years. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
