Shift Timing: 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Block Scheduling: Not Required (Per Manager Discretion)
Weekend Requirement: None (Monday–Friday Only)
On-Call Requirement: Yes
Floating: Yes (Like Units)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the GI Lab/Endoscopy unit in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for providing safe and effective patient care during GI procedures, including administering and monitoring conscious sedation, while supporting procedural workflow and patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in GI Lab / Endoscopy procedures

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures

• Assist physicians during GI diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

• Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after procedures

• Ensure patient safety and respond to sedation-related changes

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC system

• Collaborate with GI team and anesthesia providers

• Support pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care

• Follow infection control and procedural safety protocols

• Float to like units as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• Experience with conscious sedation administration and monitoring required

• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills

• Ability to work in procedural and fast-paced environments

• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active California RN License required (no pending licenses accepted)

• BLS required

• ACLS required
