School-Based Registered Nurse

In this contract position, you will work across a couple of locations, supporting various programs throughout the summer session. As a valued clinical professional, your contributions will ensure the health and safety of students, staff, and the broader school community.

Desired Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington
• Valid WA SPED RN certification and credentials
• Previous experience in schools, especially with special education populations, preferred
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, school staff, and families
• Ability to adapt quickly and travel between nearby program sites as assigned
• Commitment to in-person only work during all scheduled hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and case management to students participating in ESY programming
• Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to medical needs or emergencies
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school administrators to address student health concerns
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Support a safe and healthy school environment by following infection control practices
