This role will provide support to Manufacturing and Test Engineering in an expanding RF/DC Test floor in ISO compliant, class 100 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom.RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environmentSetup and calibrate [S] parameters and power test stations following Qorvo standardsPerform limited test setup troubleshooting, assemble fixtures, wire harnessesInteract with test engineers to support test setup improvement when applicableReport test progress to supervisor and internal customersSupport training sessions and provide guidance to less experienced team membersWork closely with manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to resolve problems and meet production schedules.Review statistical test control charts for process quality and react to out of control conditionsUse standard software applications (MES, FPS, Spotfire, Camline, FDC, MS Office) to perform job tasksIdentify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize safety, tool availability, cycle time, utilization and costWork overtime as needed to accomplish the duties and responsibilities required of the jobQUALIFICATIONS:Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent amount of experience2+ years of experience in RF component testingVersatility and ability to work on multiple tasksProficient with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-metersKnowledgeable in RF testing includes S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, TOIExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal skillsOperate as a team player with a positive attitudeProficient in MES, FPS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based softwareExperience with concept and practices of Theory of Constraints, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing is desirable.This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment, and standing for extended periods of time during a 12 hour shiftThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.Qorvo is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
