Information System Security Engineer

Seeking a highly motivated Information System Security Engineer to work remotely, this full-time position will manage security impact assessments, provide technical recommendations for cybersecurity solutions, and participate in collaborative working groups for a USCG project. Key responsibilities: Perform security impact assessments on new and ongoing IA projects to identify potential impacts on existing security controls Provide technical input and assistance in implementing cybersecurity approaches that align with DoD/DoW & USCG regulations Participate in CONOP working groups to ensure security considerations are integrated throughout project design and development phases Required qualifications: Minimum of 8-10 years of direct experience in DoW cybersecurity or a related field Network or enterprise architecture background with hands-on experience in secure architecture and integrating security tools Bachelor's degree in a relevant field US citizenship with Public Trust clearance
