Front Office ManagerDoubleTree Portland is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-driven Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, and is committed to developing a high-performing team.As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the Front Desk, Guest Services, and Night Audit while ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Hilton brand standards and hotel policies.Maintain standards of quality guest service.Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the guest services department.Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the guest service department that relate to the overall objectives of the hotel.Maintains proper supervision over all aspects of operations up to but not limited to Engineering, Housekeeping and F&B.Oversees all problem resolution matters in the absence of Rooms Director/GM.Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.Manage the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling by associates.Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security.Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.Hire, train/re-train associates and Assistant Front Office ManagerRequirementsMust have comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.Ability to accurately report information.Ability to assist with various office tasks as needed.Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.Attend required meetings.Previous Hilton system experience preferredFlexible scheduleBenefitsCompetitive salary401(k) with company matchHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Time Off & Holiday PayEmployee Hotel DiscountsEqual Opportunity EmployerStepStone Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
