Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position located in BILLINGS, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with the standards set by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, provide health education and counseling, and execute delegated medical functions within their scope of practice. The position requires flexibility to float to other departments as needed and may involve being on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Working mostly nights and evenings with a shift duration of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; one year of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; additional certifications as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Additional Information: Performs health teaching, health data assessment, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, clinical documentation, and resource utilization. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
