Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg, traveling assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date October 19, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Night shift on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). Assignment focuses on the Respiratory unit with potential float to other Med-Surg areas. Key Highlights Weekly pay: 1,882–1,964 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract weeks: 13 Shift: Nights (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), every other weekend required Start date: October 19, 2026 Assignment setting: Respiratory/Med-Surg care, with occasional float to other units Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care on the Respiratory unit and in Med-Surg areas as assigned Administer medications, monitor vitals, provide oxygen therapy, and interpret telemetry Document accurately in Epic EMR and maintain competency in charting and telemetry interpretation Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escape per protocol or supervisor guidance Float to other Med-Surg units as needed while maintaining quality and safety standards Uphold infection control practices and patient safety, including privacy and comfort needs Requirements Active Ohio RN license BLS certification Epic EMR proficiency (refresher courses or one‑on‑one sit‑time are not acceptable options) Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; must be able to read Telemetry and will be tested on day one Night shift availability: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; every other weekend required; no call required Ability to work in a respiratory care environment with appropriate PPE and infection control measures Start date: October 19, 2026; 13-week assignment; 36 guaranteed hours Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours per week: 36 13-week assignment with a defined start date Night shift schedule 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
