At State Law Firm we pride ourselves on providing our clients with service that exceeds their expectations. Our firm handles personal injury cases from beginning to end. We are constantly growing, and for that reason, we are in search of passionate people like us to add to our firm. We are looking for an experienced paralegal to undertake a variety of tasks. You will work under the supervision of three attorneys and will also provide support in assigned legal cases. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow within the firm.

2 - 5 years of experience required

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Assist in the discovery process by drafting discovery requests and responses, organizing evidence, and reviewing documents.
• Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and track deadlines using case management software.
• Coordinate and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed.
• Summarize depositions, medical records, and other key case documents.
• Support attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Stay updated on litigation procedures, court rules, and legal best practices.
