Padres Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor (Coronado - San Diego)

Padres Baseball Camps is now hiring Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County. Padres Summer Camps is looking for summer camp coaches in San Diego County who are energetic, positive, and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions — all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps — from Coach to Site Director — and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13. Know how to have a lot of fun! Core Responsibilities Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp Execute San Diego Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Padres Baseball Camps stellar reputation Qualifications For All Coaching Positions Be prepared to make a commitment Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3‑5 week commitment Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Pay is based on skill level and experience Camp Locations include: La Jolla 4S Ranch North Park Encinitas San Carlos Chula Vista Poway Torrey Hills Point Loma Rancho Bernardo La Costa Coronado Del Mar Santee Carlsbad Our Interview Process After your application is submitted, here is what you can expect next: Receive an invitation to complete a one‑way video interview Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our General Manager Final decision! Compensation Pay is based on skill level and experience. Professional Educator: $23.50/hour (please note you must have at least one school year of paid teaching experience and/or provide proof of teaching certification in order to be eligible for this hourly wage). Coach: $20.00/hour (please note you must have at least two years of professional coaching experience in baseball, softball, or another sport to be eligible for this hourly wage).
